I'm excited to get the Shasta I ordered. I was expecting to get delivery end of April anyway, so no worries here. Depends on the other guys who have combined shipping with me! Either way, I am looking forward to getting things finished and seeing how this tent looks. Since the trailer build has come to a screeching halt, I may end up getting a roof rack for the truck for now.

Well your computer with the internet is about an inch and one half off. Hopefully this 1 1/2" isn't a recurring problem in your personal life.

In all fairness the website says 14. Seems it doesn't factor in rails.

As for the 1 1/2" off.... Depends which way it's looked at haha. Glass half full or half empty...

Well in all fairness you may be right but I think since people invest a lot of money to their set up just the way the want it if the whole package is 15.5 then just say it. I don't know of a RT that is worth a damn without the mounting base so it should be done right. Sorry but that is just the engineer speaking and the engineer says give me the real world dimensions not the pseudo dimensions without the damn mounting base.

Just saying people invest too much!

I agree with you. Just didn't see the need for the smart ass portion of the post. 1 1/2" is a lot when you prefer precision, purpose built looking craftsmanship. I also read the 14" but I assumed those were generic numbers.

Couldn't agree more, I researched lots to find these details out myself and also how they mount, etc.

Was just backing the dude up who said he saw 14" as that was what I was basing my measurements on till someone asked earlier in this thread for the details.

They were generic numbers. Still thank you to all of you for bringing that to my attention as it needs to be correct. A lot of people depend on that being correct.
    Thank you again. -CVT

How do you find the time to keep up with all the forums and respond to everyone, answer emails, take phone calls and then call all these people back. Then when someone posts about a delay it should cause panic in all those people that ordered and a flood of calls and emails start coming in from that.

I'm not complaining, I just wonder how you do it without pulling your hair out.

I just imagine Bobby with patches of hair missing lol.

I am sure, Like everyone else that got in on this group buy, i thank you and they thank you for doing this.
