    fuck this sucks. we've been there during a ban before but I never knew it was an annual thing. if we wouldn't risk being banned from rausch i'd say just keep a small fire and if we get a fine we split it. $100 between a group aint bad.

    I agree with mike, if we can find a camp ground thats not too far away but in a different county that might be our best bet if its going to be shitty.

    on google maps it looks like twin grove camp ground is out of schuykill county but on their website it doesn't say anything about the burn ban. looks like $24 a night for primitive camping, and I'd rather pay $50, be able to have a fire, and be able to get a shower if I want too lol.

    Just sucks that we can't have a fire at rausch...

    yea we may have to drive like half an hour from rausch, but maybe we can find a campground that will work out for us.

    if anyone gets a chance to call tomorrow (i'll try to call if I have time but it might be tomorrow afternoon before I get a chance) try to find out:
    -if we can definitely have fires
    -if they have some group camping area or even a field or something we can camp in as a group
    -if we have to camp in normal camp sites, if we can get adjoining sites and how many cars/tents per site
