You have any pitting issues with the chromoly? That's the only issue I saw anyone have with them.

People that had problems were around salted roads. Chloride induced SCC I guess? I'm sure one of yall is a metallurgist :)

Edit: By the way the above is why you really shouldn't use bleach on stainless steel... it will cause it to crack. I have seen some used brewing equipment coming apart due to use of chlorine on SS.

Nope. In addition to keeping them clean, I use some dry moly to keep the uniball lubed. No issues. If you'd like, I have bottles and bottles of the stuff. You're more than welcome to one if you'd like.

Btw. Metals are incompatible due to the highly aggressive corrosive nature of bleach (more accurately: sodium hypochlorite). 316/316L and aluminum will tolerate bleach longer than mild steel but you'll still have a very high rate of metal loss due to the bleach (all things being static: pitting). Basically, unless you have access to high Ni-alloys like Hastelloy or Iconel, don't store or expose bleach to metal. Even then, alloys like that won't last long at all. That's why your Clorox bottle is made out of thick PE. VitonA, VitonL, PVC, Tygon, and (my favorite) Teflon are compatible.

I have quite a few tools that were corroded to hell and brittle within a few days of being exposed to bleach.

You work at a plant right? Assuming your Cooling Water Towers use bleach for microbial control, get a sample bottle of the stuff and drop of a pair of channel locs or a screw driver into it and leave it be for a few days. The metal will be gone in no time.

I'm fine. Enjoying a cup of coffee and a book.

Gah, that's not a good feeling. I hope you get it ASAP. Then again, its like waiting for anything else. Just have to be patient I suppose.

No, I finished it yesterday. I'm now midway through the second book of the series.

What, in savings? That's no small feat.

Very good. Like I said, I enjoy spy novels and John le Carre is quite excellent as an author and story teller. Alistair MacLean is also another excellent author in the same genre.
