Hey, anyone have a SWR meter (in the Sterling/Ashburn area) that I could borrow on Wednesday or Thursday?

 

Frogsauce is bringing his on Saturday to the meet... I hear that RadioShack sells one for $25ish with a great return policy too...

 

Patrick has mine now! But the radio shack option is always good.

 

Does anyone happen to have a used 285/75r16 AT type for sale? I just ordered 285's but only bought 4 tires and 5 rims so I need a somewhat decent 285 for a spare. I have been all over CL and the local shops but it is really hard to find one that someone still has by the time I call. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am down in Stafford for now but more or less am transferring back to Norfolk on Monday. I will be back on weekends until school gets out and the family moves down also. I asked around in that thread and got no response. Thanks guys!

 

Is he bringing it to the meet? Or do I need to overnight one to tune mine?

 

I'll bring it if I can make it to the meet. I've got a friend's car to work on that morning that needs to be taken care of first.

Misspoke about the toyota letters. It was you, I recognize the truck from here.

Usually around 3pm, give or take, either coming across the bridge or near the curve where the free mulch lot is. I'll blast the horn next time I see ya- crew cab Sierra.

 

We are having a big Car Truck Motorcycle show with a swap meet. Their will be food door prizes. A little bit of everything for the whole family to do. It will be at the Prince William county fair grounds on May 31 from 8am til 5 pm. Hosted by Lake Jackson VFD and PWC fair. If interested in entering contact PWC fair ask for Chris. Thanks.

Any of you guys have a white double an with an ARB? Just parked next to one at Walmart.

 

Ok i have what i think all the tools i will bring ready to go.
3 ton floor jack
4 jack stands
1/2" cordless impact with metric sockets
1/2" corded drill with various bits and attachments
1/2" torque wrench
Ratchets of varying metric sizes
Dremel with cutting wheels (you never know?)
Work lights (needed?)
I also have a 4 1/2" angle grinder but no cutting wheels for it. I believe all i have for it is the wire wheel attachment. If needed let me know.
Is anyone bringing water/cokes or anything? Gonna get thirsty in this heatwave

 

Also anyone coming to the meet if you are unterested in a 16" steel wheel the black ones for spares let me know and its yours.

Yep…that's me. I drive from Manasshole to Burke around 3. Flash your lights at me or honk next time. I'll keep my eyes peeled. I see quite a few tacomas on my drive home.

 

I have a lot of water and some soda and snacks...I figure we can order pizza or drive out with the trucks that are not torn apart to lunch somewhere if we want.

Sounds good. Then I will just bring whatever I have in my house.

 

I also have a pressure washer for anyone wanting a quick rinse...I'm going to give mine a once over and wash down the suspension and undercarriage once it gets a little later to minimize the dirt explosion when taking off the old suspension.
