I will keep this taco till the wheels fall off and the engine blows up, then put new wheels on it tuck a diesel engine under the hood and drive that till it blows up too. Doesn't mean I wont have another new taco in the driveway though.

I've had my '03 for 15 months. So far I've put 25,000 miles on it. We use if for road trips and sleep under the camper shell rather than staying in hotel rooms. If I continue at that rate it'll have 200,000 miles on it in 3 years. I hope it lasts at least 5 more years.

Anyway, I'm going to keep it until repair costs are more than a car payment.

I might pick up a used toyota corolla or something as a daily driver to extend the life of my Tacoma.

I drive between 10-12k mls a year, currently even less. So in 10 years it will have 120k on it max, I planned to drive it to 200k and then sell so roughly 15 years.

Had my last truck for 12yrs. I plan on driving my taco much longer. Its been 7+yrs. 91K+ miles and, by far, the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. So I'll drive it until the wheels fall off. Put them back on and keep going:thumbsup:

I had two vehicles that almost made it to 300,000 miles. (1985 Toyota pickup and a 1995 Saturn SL1). Frame and oil light respectively! I wish to achieve that milestone with this green Tacoma. Fingers and toes are crossed.....;)

Until the wheels fall off or the engine fails. Then when that happens i'll put new wheels on and put a new engine in it. It's coming to the grave with me.
