Idk but I'm kinda pissed. I might've just spent $400 on an unneeded alternator. I hope I can send it back. If my fix works tomorrow, gonna put my old alt back in and see what happens.

So it turns out I really was drawing too much power through that single 10 gauge wire. Just wasn't big enough I guess. Wired in the blue sea fuse box using 4 gauge and no more flickering. There's a tiny bit when I run other things like when I roll up or down the windows. But I think that may be the wires coming from the lights themselves and need to be upgraded as well. Will do that another weekend and tear it all out and run some really nice 12 gauge I got today. Also gonna separate each light to a different slot on the fuse box. As I have the 20" and two 8" wired in series on the same relay. With the 40" on a different relay as well. Then I'm gonna stuff it all in a waterproof box I got. Should be golden after all that. Ugh I hate electrical. At least it's not the new alternator. That helped a lot too. Before you could hear the amount of strain it was putting on the system as it bogged the engine down.

Who me? Nah. Just electrical problems. Wondering if I need a second battery if I end up adding any more tho. Lol. I think it's possibly due to the circuitry being not as efficient as the name brand bars. And the wires which I needed to upgrade. But it's still cheaper upgrading my electrical system than buying the name brand versions. A LOT cheaper.
Check out this guys tundra. He spent like $6000 on his lights for the actual vision x brands unlike my knock offs.

Oh and to give a comparison regarding the knock off prices...
I've spent $682 just on my vision x knock offs. If I would have purchased them from vision x it would've been $3696!! Before shipping! That's insane.
I've spent about ~$2500 on EVERYTHING for my truck regarding lights and hardware for it. That includes all mounting hardware, wires/connectors, optima battery, h/o alt, big 3, misc leds for running lights, headlights assemblies, tail lights, my projector retrofit which I've invested way too much in after issues with them (which I still have to install my new projectors in the new housings)...
So yeah I think I did well. Most people that buy the really nice lights only get like 1or 2 bars for that price.

I've managed to not calculate how much I've spent on lighting so far! Would probably have a heart attack if I did

Haha yeah. Thinking into it more, for the amount of money I put into the truck since I financed it, I could've probly had it paid off by now.

just ordered a black box logistics 30" S series. single row of 10w LED's. Going to order some rigid brackets for the bumper mount on monday. Have read nothing but great reviews on black box logistics lights. Will report back with pics and results.

    http://www.blackboxlogistics.com/s--series.html#!/~/product/category=6943359&id=18699320

got that one. i PM'd them on another site and they hooked me up with a discount and free shipping. great company to work with so far. i suggested they make at least a screen name if not vender account on tacomaworld. All the wrangler guys LOVE their products. seems to be a great middle ground from cheap cheap LED bars and rigid/visionx

Shouldn't be about price. Should be about coverage!

I like the setup, dude! I don't know if there is anything to convince me to get a bar on the roof. Unless they're pointed to the sides and rear. If they're pointed forward it's all just fill light. I'm throwing spots up top. Just to get light down the trail. But, different strokes for different folks.

Thanks! The 30" up front honestly puts out more usable light than the 42". I lose a lot of light b/c it reflects off the hood and scatters. I'm about to blackout the center section of the hood to avoid this.
