Hey Paul, what length Fiskars axe do you have? I ordered the X15 but I'm worried it may be too short... Haha

I am envious of those of you who have areas where you can do this. The closest off-road park is several hours away and most are defunct mining operations.

Haven't measured it exactly. When the awning poles are down it will angle up. Perfect because when my arb fridge is in the back I'm covered. I may fab up some brackets so it sits higher but not sure. Tepui also sells some walls for the awning which look sweet. You can also add an additional room at the end of the awning. So many options. I'll snap some pictures this weekend.

wouldn't bother with the walls. Won't be able to use them with the tail gate down.

Honestly I don't think I would get the walls or the extra room. When we hangout it's usually by the camp fire anyway. Been a few times I wish I had an awning and annex though. Hopefully these two things will come in handy.

My awning is very nice for the "kitchen" setup i have with the table on the swingout :p haha its nice cause if its a bit rainy..still can cook and have a place to stay out of the rain for the storm to pass.

When I cook I usually cook on the tailgate! Should work out great!

Pretty excited about the awning, The annex I purchased from tepui unfortunately for the model RTT that I have only has three walls. It's open toward the side of the truck. Not sure how useful its going to be.. After seeing Monte's video from youtube I ordered one.

I't's in D whenever it does it.
It doesn't drive funny otherwise, but it's due for maintenance.
    I don't think so.
