What gets to you?

Personal property taxes. Paying taxes on shit I've already paid taxes on just for the "privilege" owning it.

 

This, and The Death Tax.

 

At least it went down a little this year

I hate taxes too. I think property tax makes more sense than income tax however. We need to abolish the income tax and the IRS. A fair consumption tax makes more sense than anything.

People that don't return shopping carts to the designated areas.
Dudes that wear bedazzled jeans or shirts.
Loud cell phone talkers.
People who do not watch their kids in public places i.e. grocery stores, restaurants, etc...

 

That's insane. My property is assessed at about $500K. In California, thanks to Prop 13, it's limited as to how much it can go up in a year. The people I bought it from were paying less than half of what I pay (they built the house in 1976). The only time the property tax changes drastically is when you sell. Then it's assessed at it's market value again. The tax is 1% of the value of the house. Some areas have additional taxes called Mello Roos which can tack on a large amount.

 

freeloaders, people living on unemployment, people living off of alimony or child support, 95% of politicians, gun laws, anybody who abuses animals (needs to be taken out back and beat to shit), 1-800 #'s calling at 7am on a weekend, the westboro baptist church nutcases, the swag/yolo generation, hipsters, thiefs, bratty kids and the parents that dont do anything about it, anyone who drives a prius, california/new york/conneticut trying to ban everything, being interrupted while i'm mid-sentence, people who dont know the difference between there/their/they're, people that blame video games as the reason to violence.

this list could go on forever lol

dont get me wrong on this last one, i love my wife to death, but lately her favorite thing to do is ask for my help with something the SECOND i sit down on the couch or start watching a show.

oh yeah, and one of my biggest pet peeves, is ANYBODY who tries to impede on my god given or constitutional rights, no matter how minor the "change" they want to make is

 

What gets to me is all these stupif people who don't realize what the heck is going on around them.

 

My taxes have gone up 93% in the last decade and continue to rise. Fucking people popping out kids non-stop. I don't even have kids and pay over $5,000 per year for schools so POS parents can have daycare.
