Ok I got Campsite B #9 and I put down Mike on my permit

Well I have 4 slots on my permit.. Between me and Miles, we can put you guys up with us in B, and have whomever else is coming up, jump to your site.. I think that is pretty fair as we are pretty much in the mix of planning and executing this event..

Huh? I put mike and his girl on my permit? I guess Mike didn't want to put all his eggs in one basket
I hope Chris and Ratha get a site. Also we need Jesse up there too.
Hopefully, whoever got site 8 is one of use, then we can all just crash site B

From the looks online:
Campsite A includes 4,5,6
Campsite B includes 7,8,9

Others have to chime in, but I think it is safe to say that we have 4 out of the 6 sites. I don't know how it usually works, but I logged 7 (ghost) people on my site (which can hold 7). It looks like site A can hold 14 per site.. If Ivan and Polekasta (and even Miles) didn't have ghost people to total the max at the site, could others have reserved and gotten onto your site? (i.e. Miles puts 5 of 7, could a party of 2 have made a reservation for his site?)...

 

4 people on my permit. when I read it again it looked like I got 2 permits. I only got 1 permit, with 4 people on... just to clarify

Btw, every time you edit your permit, it costs you another $3. And once you reserve the site, nobody can take the other available openings for people. It becomes your site. You can reserve the site all for yourself if you wanted to.

 

OK so I got approval from the First Lady to come up solo on Saturday if I can piggyback on someone's permit? I'll pay change fees

 

do they check the permits again at the camp?

if we're still under the site limit, maybe we can all crash up at B and use A as overflow?

 

If there is other campers there and if we make big noise or something. Maybe DLNR would come down and check the camping permits. Just a thought.

 

Then we do have at least 4 out of 6 sites no matter what.. awesome.. Not sure if anyone else (chris, ratha, etc) got sites as well..

Do the non-camping guys need to get on on of our camping permits or do they get a different permit? Maybe we can get that info and post it up for those who will be just joining us for the day.

 

It's looking like I can still go so far. I'd just be bringing the dog as of right now. Who exactly do I have to pay?

Brooks messaged me asking if he can piggyback on my permit to go up. I was gonna email him a copy of my permit so he'll have a copy to show at the gate. Will that be OK for access to the site. Don't think he'll be staying overnight so he shouldn't have to be put on the permit, or should I add his name on?
