Hmmm I'm tempted.... I would have to do it in the next two weeks or wait until June. Do you have the LEDs?

 

No I dont have the leds. I wanna do red knobs and white everything else.

 

I can't remember which forum/place I wrote about it, but I looked into the Maasdam Jackall. It was inferior for a few reasons, and I don't remember what they were at this time.

Yup. The climbing pins never wanted to engage when jacking down. You could get stuff in the air and be stuck unless you had a ton of downward force and it was oiled to the point of dripping. This last time I used it, it was in the snow. There was just enough pressure for the jack to sink instead of engage the pins, so it didn't go down. Really glad I didn't get too high up before discovering this.

 

I feel like all I want is a 6-10" deep mud pit somewhere tomorrow. Anyone have an idea where I can find one?

 

Go buy a plastic kiddie pool, fill it 2/3 of the way with top soil, then top it off with water and mix well.

 

Ya know, it would be a lot of fun to hit that once with a truck but then the neighbors get mad...

 

Too bad for the neighbors I guess

 

One week without touching the truck and the battery takes a shit

Tomorrow I get to take tons of "care packages" up to darrington in the tacoma to the people that have been effected by the mudslide. Truck is stocked completely full. Ill see if I can get any shots of the work that is going on from the Darrington side of the slide. 3 hour trip ONE WAY for me..

The 4WheelParts TruckFest is going on at the Puyallup fairgrounds this weekend. Not sure what the normal price is but the 'show' price for HiLift jacks was $68 for the 48" steel and $75 for the 48" cast version.

I think the show is open til 4 pm tomorrow.

 

Hey fellas! Will be back in state in two weeks and I've got lots of bits and pieces to work on. Any meets brewing in two weeks?

 

All loaded up for this run to Darrington. About 5 other trucks loaded and our suburban are full. Probably a whole stock from Walmart The hospital I work at had 2 entire conference rooms full of donated stuff from various stores.

Turned out to be a great drive! Got there with 4 trucks full and only one of about 25 people helped unload.. Everyone there just stood around watching us and then wanted a picture with us because we brought so much. Anyway I decided to take the mountain loop highway home which saved me about 45 minutes, instead of driving through Concrete. I guess the loop road used to be incredibly muddy and icy but it was a breeze for me, never even thought about 4wd. Not sure why some pictures came out sideways, but got some great views while up there! Also the picture with my ultragauge was the trip home taking the loop, not through Concrete.

 

I thought about going but had important stuff to do this weekend. Those prices are nothing great, Amazon has the same price. Thanks for the eyes, though

 

There were some cool ones, but all of the 4wd trails were gated off sadly. Being right by the river was nice though!
