Yes sir. That was my plan. Hopefully someone can help me fab some stuff to make it all work and help with the install. When the time comes (probably when I rebuild top end at 200k)

Jeff if you run into something you need an oddball die for temporarily let me know. Sometimes for just a single job the cost of buying one doesnt make sense.
    Pretty sure I have .500", .625", .750", .875", 1.00", 1.125", 1.25", 1.50", 1.75" & 2.00"

I have heater and AC and PS, fully functional! It can be done. The LS is a small package, but the headers......holy hell. Grab a bottle of Xanax first, it gets friggin tight in there, the shaft for the rack and pinion is what broke the deal on almost every build I have seen fail! They couldnt get any off the shelf headers to work, so I built my own from scratch using LS header flanges from Jegs, and a header DIY kit for a small block chevy, cut and paste, lol.

But its LONG, so the radiator will be almost kissing the water pump pulley, I had to make semi-solid motor mounts so the engine wouldnt move and hit something!!

May wanna check the low end too, may be able to hone it and slap in some rings and bearings too if your gonna boost it! Your gonna want a good ring seal with boost.

I have built a ton of turbo setups, mostly for the 2RZ, but same deal but with balance shafts and longer stroke.
When it comes time lemme know, I am well versed on forced induction systems and the 2/3RZ platforms.

The single cab in question is a 2nd gen, not a first gen. Jeff was talking LS I/we were talking about 669sprink for the 4.0.

I am having trouble keeping up with several different conversations.

I suck at multi-tasking, but can do one thing at a time fucking awesome! Haha.

I know, I'm trying to work right now.

I figured a 4.0 into a 2nd gen std cab would be a nice little ride. Less custom fab would free up $$ for bolt ons.

    Mmmmm bolt-on titties

Yeah, it's massive, but not impossible (i think)
But then you have a LS (i prefer no GM on my vehicles)
Then you have a F-250, ehh, if i put a 2nd gen body on a f-250 frame i get a smaller size (the frame on the f-250 is a good foot inside the outside of the body) and just trim the back end of the frame to ACLB or DCSB size.

Anyone have a buddy at a local toyota dealership? I need a quote to service my trans (preferably with an exchange machine, but i'll settle for a regular flush)

Whenever someone gives me money to buy the F-250 (wrecked as long as it's only body damage) and a wrecked 2nd gen (only needs body work, it's easily fixable), and a couple weeks time.

My comment was not to actually to put a body on a f250. But the fact that you would do a shit load of work to replace or modify all parts to become a f250 but still have a 4' bed and a first seating. So why not just buy a f250 and tune the hell out of it with the money you save. The diesel isn't going to get better mpg in a yota by the time your beef everything up to handle the diesel the truck will weigh close to the same. Jason's truck is a stockish truck on steroids, but you can do that with a 2wd.

I know, but you still have a big truck.
If you put a tacoma body on the f-250 frame/drivetrain you have a smaller truck (not as tall, wide, or long as the ford)
I don't, but having that power plant in that truck would make me dislike it less.

What would you do with the diesel engine power other than listen to the exhaust?

    Pro's of the diesel:
    1. Bo-diesel
    2. sound
    3. performance
    4. possible gain of MPG's (most likely seen while towing)
    5. Cool factor

    Con's
    1. cost
    2. Weight over the from axle

Cant pull what the original diesel could, its going to drive like shit on the street with all that weight In the front, good bye emissions, goodbye leg room when you have to modify the transmission tunnel, ect ect ect...

Yeah, but id done properly (tacoma body on f-250 frame) It'll pull more than the 2nd gens, and most likely do it better.
    Screw emissions
Leg room would be a slight issue for me.
