I may be rejoining this coveted fraternity tomorrow. Going to look at this guy tomorrow: The dealer is full of SHIT with the pricing though. KBB estimates around 19k and the dealerer has it listed for 21.2 and claims an MSRP of 25,999. I don't even think its possible for a brand new reg cab to be 25,999... much less a manual one.

Note to self: Don't drive this one into a hole.

I think 2012 new was like 23k when I was looking in 2012. I would look to get one with 50,000ish miles for cheaper. I have seen some on craigslist go for pretty cheap.

Hey man. We knew you'd be back.:gossip:
What's the price of a new truck in your area? My new 13 was 22.5.

Yeah. I like the thought of it being essentially brand new. I'm going to give them an offer of 20k OTD and show them that the true car price on the exact model as a 2014 is 21,800.. and ask them what is causing the high markup.

I would go lower for the OTD if the pricing it actually 21800 for a 2014

True, the worst they can say is no, and will just counter offer. What do yall think should be my walk out point? I'm pretty certain I'm going to get the truck unless they wont budge on pricing. There just aren't really in this area much less a black one with really low miles. I like black because the plastic fenders aren't as visible

I agree... except I'm in Mobile and absolutely hate it.. Once I get enough saved up for a mortgage I will definitely be purchasing on the other side of the bay... the "brighter" side.

I would be careful about where you do that on this side of the bay, its nice and has been, but it has changed a lot in the last decade. Insane growth rate, it will be Mobile in another decade. I'm looking east of here and looking at west mobile...I like living on the outskirts though.

The MSRP for my Taco w/auto trans was something like $23,225. The bug shield and hard tonneau must be worth and extra $2,500.

Yea you might get a better loan on a new one and be even closer payment wise, but with a brand new truck instead.

Not black but would be heck of a lot cheaper and from a member . Plus you could buzz up north after picking it up and hit some trails.

There was 3 for sale in the state of Texas when I went to buy mine. That's why I had it built.

    I've wondered the same thing.
