there's nowhere to use a full LT rear here. you'd be best off with a good SOA leaf pack w/shock relocation than a full LT SUA setup IMHO

front 2+ would be though.

If AP made a tubed 2+ I'd be all over that. but alas...

Yeah, I don't need it for dez mobbing, I just want it for more travel and articulation.
Right now I just have the stock leafs, and the ICON progressive mini 3 leaf AAL. I always thought SUA would be a waste on trails anyway. Loss of clearance.

Sounds good Ron. Kinda curious how much devastation has been done since last time. Every time I go there, it looks pretty different.

 

Still the same....some moguls are a little deeper . I found a pretty cool section too.

I had a conversation with someone I found on one of the forums about them. I copied it below. It has a link to the lights she bought.

I soldered off the old ones and soldered on the new ones. I used a razor blade to carefully scrape off the color on the needles and used white nail polish to repaint them white. On the circuit board, I used white LEDs near the placement of the needles and blue LEDs on the rest of the circuit board. Pay attention to which light bulb matches each gauge on your instrument cluster and and you can pretty much choose whatever colors you want. There was a step by step process I had found years ago but I have no clue where to even find that anymore... google? Just remember where the pieces go when you're taking the instrument cluster apart... putting it back together the first time got confusing and you will have to double check that your gauges are working properly afterward. My gas needle was a bit off after the process but only by like a milimeter so it wasn't anything to worry about. I'm sure I could have calibrated it but I was too lazy. Hope this helps... I am sure someone on here can help more. Try contacting that Jerez guy from California. He does that swap all the time! I was the one who told him about the LEDs too. See ya!

Sad. Peacock flats and kaena point are the only two places to legally wheel here, and I bet kaena will be shut down to vehicles within the next few years. If DNLR is understaffed and can't regulate it, and there is no funding, next step is to close it.
