Ahhh man. My neighbor had one, but I never had one. I sure as hell wanted one!
I sing that song to both my boys. Soon to be 2yo laughs. 8yo thinks I'm stupid and laughs at me. :D

    Haha, I had a monster.

Haha funny you sing that to your boys. I wonder if the boys that sang the song and that were in the commercial now have kids and sing it to theirs... hahaha. Maybe show them the commercial and say look there I am when I was little lol

When you stop to think, especially after watching all these old commercials, seeing the toys, and movies etc. It's crazy and kind of eerie to think how fast time has flown. Now more than ever I realize what the older people meant when they said that.

You speak the truth. Having kids you really realize how fast time really goes. My niece for instance will be 22yo this year. Even though I was 14 when she was born, it still blows my mind seeing her drink a beer. Legally anyway LOL.

Sad that as a kid, you didn't realize how good and easy life was.

Speaking of that new plastic smell, as a kid we used to go to Newberry's Store for toys sometimes and that was the first thing that always hit me when we walked in. That new toy smell brings back memories. Toys that didn't have those impossible zip ties and wire ties either.

Oh yeah, I had one of those!
Haha, I had the Black Bandit, I remember day dreaming how I wish I had a real truck like that, funny now I have one better.. lol And The 9.6V I remember haha, it must've been a big deal.
But if I'm not mistaken, he actually had a scent put on him, where the others didn't. Because I remember basically huffing him, because I liked the smell haha.
