1.5" Wheel spacers all around, 2.0 fox coil over with foxes in the back to match it up, add a leaf. 285/70/r16 general grabbers. my magnaflow exhaust k&n intake just threw in some maxtrac spindles. Total chaos UPA. Bunch of other little things
I think disiel tundras would fly off the shelfs if the price and performance was right backed up with there name and reliability. Shit my girls step dad had an F250 and the alternator blew 2 times within 10 years.

Speed Freak I got a 2.7 my truck is the white snail haha

I would gamble on a Dodge 1/2 ton Diesel, Nissan with Cummins diesel, or ford eco-boost gasser. and now you have a tow rig for your LT tacoma on the weekends.

So I have a question for all the diesel fanatics. My dad is an independent distributor for Pure Flo Water, he has a 1991 Freightliner with a 12V Cummins, Allison Trans. Single rear axle.
He is being forced out of business at the end of 2014 due to new diesel restrictions in Ca. He cannot add a particulate filter because its not available for that motor and he cant afford to re-power the truck so hes going to hang it up and shut down the company. That part is total bull shit but leads me to this...
Does anyone know if the new regulations apply to trucks like this for private use? I ask because it would make a killer tow rig for any travel trailer you could imagine and with a flat bed truck you could have your truck right on the back. Best of both worlds.

Hey I think the TW crew should come and support me at the National hare and Hound race this weekend! Gonna be in JV, I am gonna need a cold drink and somewhere to lay down afterward, thats not in the dirt.

Its gonna be a wicked one, SoCal M/C is putting it on, gonna be some rocks!!! Aaaand at some point I am gonna wish I was in the Jeep with the A/C on and no dust. Usually its after loop 1 when I hit the pits realizing I only did the easier loop, and I will get more tired and the course gets tougher and I have to do another 40 miles of hell.

    Sounds like fun right?

So who's bringing the Pom Poms?

Depending on what kind of fuse it is I have found that a .22 bullet is a great fit for the old glass style

They wanted to get all the private trucks with this law but couldnt make it happen. There are rumblings of Ca. changing up the fuel again so that it would force the private guys out of their trucks as well. Like a diesel #3 that wouldn't work for like 2006 and older that were designed for diesel #1 but can still burn #2.
That will blow diesel prices up in Ca. so high that even if you have a newer rig you couldn't afford to fill it up.

Here is something i read awhile back Quoted:
    "Calmax,

I contacted CARB and got the same answer. Noncommercial vehicles like motorhomes are exempt from CARB requirements. I am a LEO and I got this response from an actual CARB employee through official channels.

    Chad
    "

So you have to find out is it the same for Private Use Non Commercial or What would it take at a minimum to classify it as a Motorhome.

So much grey area. I hate it.

My dad didnt know a thing about the new emissions til his mechanic mentioned it. Nothing from DMV, no little note with registration or anything. I guess he would have found out the hard way one day next year. At least since his mechanic told him now he can figure out what hes going to do for work, only been delivering water for 35 years and is not ready for retirement.
