    What flavors do you vape?

I am using 10ml blunt tip syringes for measuring out the flavorings, sucralose, and nicotine so I get exact mL measurements. The VG/PG I already have pre-mixed in another bottle to my desired ratio, and I just fill up the rest of my 1, 2 or 4oz bottles with that, after having already added the flavor/nic/suc to my mixer bottle. I have graduated cylinders, too, but the PG/VG really clings to the pyrex more than I expected, so my juice loss was too high. The syringes work great.

Right now I'm using LorAnn's hard candy flavorings. They are the most trustworthy so far, but I'm open to suggestions for other concentrated food-grade companies with a reputation in the cooking industry like theirs.

I'm using an authentic Poldiac. All Brass, with a Kayfun light as my daily. My co worker is waiting for his Poldiac clone from fasttech though. I'm curious to see how it works, especially because it pennies on the dollar. Bottom buttons Kind of annoy me. I have accidentally over tightened the lock ring on my K100 a few times. It's the worst when you are driving. The polciac doesn't lock though, but I have never had an issue with is firing in my pocket, or if it falls in between the slots in my cup holder.

I was looking at the clone they had on FastTech, so I'm curious on your review of your friend's when it arrives. Let me know if the clone was done right or if it's junk.

Do you run protected or un-protected batteries in your mech?

For sure! I hope it works well. I want to side by side his and mine, He picked up the kayfun light clone as well. He got that today, works great.

I'm using the sony vt4 2100 mah. Even though I never get my Kayfun below .9ohm. they are unprotected, But very safe.

I run the Panasonic 3400mAh unprotected 18650's in my VTR and my 134, but that's because those devices are already protected. I understand the risks of unprotected batteries in a mechanical mod, but we all make mistakes and I don't want to burn one up in my face or in my pocket/backpack.

I vape the Russian 91% or my Igo-W3 (dual coil setup) but without a mech I can't get the Igo to vape with a dual coil even when at just over 1 ohm. I need more direct power from a mech, that's why I'm researching. The Russian vapes great at 1.5ohm on either of my devices and it's nice to not have to drip. I'm using the Igo just for flavor testing since it's an easy platform to swap wicks out in a hurry. When I travel, I use an iClear 30s tank for its simplicity.

That means I still have more time to figure out making my own so I can stock up on the nicotine concentrate if the restrictions start coming down the pipe.

I haven't used the Panasonic, i've heard good things though.

I know what you mean about the dual coil set up. I run an I-GOw. I run it at .4 to .6 ohm in dual coil mode. otherwise if i run closer 1 ohm the coils will take forever to heat up, regardless of the mod option. I use mine on a k100, and use it for just flavor testing/flavors and vapor production. It works great. that panisonic Batt will be safe down to .3 ohms for sure.

My kayfun only uses menthol flavors, just for ease.

Yes, running over 1ohm (required on my VTR and 134) takes even a single coil a few seconds to heat up red hot. Can't wait to have a mech that will allow me to have a dual coil running at about .5ohms that heats up fast.

I had no idea that the VTR and 134 wouldn't let you go sub ohm! Rough! I do hear a lot of good things with the nemesis clone from fasttech. I tired my buddies and it worked fine, and for less than 20 bucks, its a good temp haha.

Their circuits shut them down if you go sub-ohm. Probably for the best though.

Makes it much more safe, and its fine for anything but rebuildables. buuuuuut, I would hate that.

I run my Russian 91% on the 134, and I usually build a 1.5 ohm coil. Still, to get it to hit really good, I have to turn the 134 up to 12 watts. It does the job, but isn't quite strong enough for other RBAs.

My new Smok Magneto should be here tomorrow according to tracking. I've also got a K100 coming from FastTech just to play around with. Hoping one or the other, or maybe even both, will deliver the power I am looking for.

Got my Magneto today. Can't wait to go home and build a dual coil sub ohm and fire it up on that. Going to try the dragon coil wick wrap. I do a wrap that is similar, but the dragon looks great and gives good coverage.

You can go slightly sub ohm the VTR, 134 & MPV2 will let you go down to 0.8 ohms.
My single coil 1.0 ohm Fogger2 with cotton wick on MPV2 at only 7 watts.
I usually vape it at 7 to 8 watts depending on the juice flavor.
Not a sub ohm cloud maker but it makes plenty.

    And all put together
    [IMG]

Another coil that works good is a single coil for two wicks that I call the Infinity coil. this one came out at 1.5 ohms when I get more wire I'm going to make one around 1.0.

Very nice. I'm running dual twisted 30awg coils in my iGo W3, running at .5 ohms exactly. Huge vape and good flavor. I tried a .4 ohm setup and it was too harsh, wanting to burn my cotton and making my flavors taste too weird. .5 is perfect for me on a dual and the cotton goes for days.

Now to figure out what my next project will be...

I tried 3 braided 32g & 2 twisted 32g but they took too long to heat up.
Try a Stereo Coil. I wrapped two 32g simultaneously to get a dual coil on the same wick.
0.9 ohms & heats up real quick

I find that microcoils burn up my wicks/cotton too quickly, so I run those twisted coils with some decent spacing between the wraps. It puts heat across more surface area of the saturated wick and I get big clouds without burning wicks. My coils crust up before the cotton even gets dark. But I run 50% VG so my juices are thick but I'm a cloud chaser.

I space mine too. Juice when I have a choice is 50/50. I won 3 120mL of 70%VG from Freakshows Curious Elixirs that I dilute with 10% water to get them to flow.
My stereo coil is 7/64' llllllllll I'll get a pic when I change the wick this weekend.
I dry burn coils & change wicks about once a week.
