VLEDs LED switchback / super bright DTRL / bulbs TRITON GROUPBUY

Do you have V3 tailights and brake lights? or just taillights. I'd love to see a video of the brake lights compared to the tail lights.

 

I have a 2012 so my brake lights are already LEDs I believe...someone correct me if I'm wrong....I just have the amber v3 for my signals

If your truck already has DTRL, then the VLEDS triton switchback will be white on DTRL, and flash amber only for signal light
At the end of a signal operation, DTRL turns back on to White after 2 seconds from the off state.

 

White as a signal color is likely illegal. The module that comes with Triton takes care of the switchback operation

besides using velcro...where is a good place to mount the control box on the driver side? I found a good spot on the passenger side but no luck on the driver side.

Add Parking Light Adapter to activate the white LEDs for Single Filament 7440 Turn Signal Only Applications. Use 3 Pin Adapter connect RED wire to parking circuit.

front signal light is 3157CK type. Rear on earlier Tacomas is a 3157. Check your truck's owner manual for bulb#s.

not sure what you are hoping to do, so I can't answer the rest of your question.

hey, I just notice today that my left turn signals was hyper blinking front the cab but come to find out, my left drl/turn signal are both not working. swapped the v3 triton bulbs and the problem did not follow, meaning there isn't anything wrong with the bulbs. I swapped the ballast and the problem did follow to the right side, meaning something is probably wrong with the ballast and not vehicle wiring. I checked input power after the base adapter and voltage is present, however there is no output voltage coming out of the ballast at the connector that connects to the v3 bulb. I flipped the base adapter numerous times and it did not correct the problem. I checked the fuse and it's also good. can anyone offer any advice on what I can do next?

Same. I mounted the box in the same spot but with a zip tie for easier removal.

 

Sent VLEDS the same information in my post and has recommended to send controller in for warranty repair.

So I Installed my v3 tritons 6k switchback and I must say they are badass!

I ordered them on Monday (4/6) and it came in this afternoon -- very fast shipping!

I did not install the dim wire because I wasn't sure which side to put it on since it only came with one wire. Does anybody have pictures to show how they installed them? I'm planning on using Ttap but wanted to see how your guys' work.

I didn't bother with dimmer light. Almost like second set of fogs at night

Each pigtail wire bundle should come with a resistor dimming white wire...

Unless you have done a BHLM, you will be blinding oncoming vehicles, especially with 5K or 6K LED's...you don't wanna' be that Dude....you'll know if you are when you get flashed by every other vehicle...If you have blacked out your reflector bowls , you can run without dimming because you will lose alittle output....

 

If you have DTRL on your Tacoma, then the DTRL circuit is off, and consequently your V-LED Triton is off when the headlights are on. I believe the dimming wire would do nothing for you then, because the white light circuit is not on. When they are on, the DTRL white light is quite diffused, so blinding other vehicles is unlikely.
