So if those are so strong they will not bend or break does that just mean whatever you are installing them on will just bend and break instead? :D

Well...rebuild all 4 shocks up front last night.
I had one blown coilover, one blown bypass, and the other bypass was only 75 psi. All things considered, the shocks are creeping up on 3 years old and never been rebuilt. I revalved/charged them early last year...and that's it. One of the IFP's was siezed on the wrong side of the resi which made disassemble a nightmare (and a huge mess in my garage). Safe to say the rebuild was overdue. Oil was a frothy black mess

    Yummy:

You think the cost in F911 vs grade 8 SS is worth it? Reason I ask is I get G8 SS nuts and bolts free (up to 1/2" x 4"). I also get titanium nuts and bolts for free (buku $$$) but I'd rather not get in to that right now.

Stainless should never be used in a sheer application. It's simply not near as strong as grade 8, even 316. If we're just talking for show, non-sheer, non-stress, non-safety application...ok. But it's like 40-50% less tensile strength and yield strength than grade 8.
