Street armor or 5100's

I've was about to pull the trigger on some 5100's to help level my truck out, but after seeing the way some people park in my lot at school I'm having second guesses. I don't do much off-road at the moment and sliders would be somewhat overkill, but I'd rather pay for them than have dents and scratches in my doors. Should I still go for the 5100's or some sliders?

As far as sliders go does anyone have those all-pro ones? I like how they fan out in the back.

 

Personally, if I was in your situation, I'd go with sliders. Sliders can protect your truck from the scratches and dings like you said.

I'm going with Revenge Fab sliders.

If you get sliders I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding revenge fab... your looking for nothing but trouble going down that road

 

when i lived in ontario, i got the 5100s as there was room and such...but when i moved to LA, sliders are high on the list for the very reason you mention! we just got a new couple in our apartment complex and their spot is next to ours, so sliders are coming soon...i can already tell as the guy parks over the line cause he has an f-150 in a compact spot!

do the sliders (i personally would suggest bolt on ones as they will be cheaper and you dont offroad), then in a few months you can easily save the ~$280 for a full set of 5100's from sonny at downsouthmotosports.

Thanks for the input! I guess sliders it is then. Anyone have some reccomendations on some? I've looked at both Demello and All-pro and both are good possibilities. I don't mind if they're welded on as I have a friend who could help me with it.

 

I would have said 5100s, but as much as I hate door dings I voted sliders.
