Ranch Topper, Bull Bar.....Yes, I know everyone thinks they are crap, I like the look
Was just reading some of the last post which mention interest rate.
    Had to relay this story.
It's crazy, I now hate the finance guy more than the salesmen.
He pushed 100K mile oil change/maintenance a little bit ( I said hell no).
Then, he would NOT stop with the 100K extended warranty.
He started at ......$4500...$3500...I was not listening cause I was not interested.
He gets the warranty price down to $1500 then starts discounting the interest rate.
Started at 2.99% before we were talking warranty.
After dropping warranty price to $1500, he starts dropping the interest rate.
He got down to 1.75% if I took the warranty at $1500.
This was the first extended warranty I have ever bought.
After reading some of the post around here, maybe it was a good deal after all.
Sounds like I might need it!

Anyway, I knew you could shop interest rates but had no idea the were negotiable.

Hey guys new here ( 1st post). Been looking for a truck for a few months and have found it hard to source the options I want in NC, so getting a good price has also been tough. This is the current deal im looking at, no where near what you guys are getting.

    2014 MGM DCSB TRD/OR

    TRD-OR extra value package
    "" Tow package
    carpet mats
    clear paint protection
    entune plus

    Sticker: 34,601
    Price: 32,029
    TTL: 33,695

seems high, I went to the dealer looking for them to move a truck for me to buy and asked if they would match true car even if they weren't a dealer, and it turns out they are getting the exact truck this weekend so it would have 0 miles.

They did do 100 off of truecar price.

tried to get them down another $500 and it was a no go, said they were 200 under invoice now, which I don't believe but I'm pretty happy with the price. 6.6% off msrp seems to be about right. Has 4 miles on it, I put 2 on it test driving today, getting cleaned and gassed up and I'll pick it up Monday.

Any service pan I should actually consider, I was going to walk in with a check already made out so I don't have to deal with all the add one last min. sales pitches.

I'm sure I could have got a better deal, but when it's time to buy I buy.

2014 DCLB 4x4, TRD Sport, Entune w/Nav JBL, step bars, tow pkg, mats, LED DRL's, and other stuff that made the sticker over $38K. I gave my 2004 Tundra 4x4 and $26K. After some dealing, they came out with a different finance co and gave me around 1.75% on 60 mo.

Finally got my red DC TRD Sport, had to order for JBL/entune plus, NAV, and step bars. Most lots around Austin are bare. Gave $31,500 +TTL and refused to sign until they gave me 3k more for my trade, since they forgot the towing package when ordered, all in all happy with how it worked out. This is my 3rd 2nd gen Taco.

First was base model bought in '06, traded it for my Dad's '09 TRD off-road. Paid that off and sold last Summer to carmax for 19,500 with 60k miles....and drive a high end sports car until Saturday. Loved the car but really missed having a truck! Nothing better for my needs than a Taco!

Someone else had posted this as well, my steering wheel is slightly out of alignment too, have to take it in soon for that. Love the JBL, it ROCKS!

Avid viewer over this past 2 months of this page and first post ever on Tacoma World!

Friday evening I did $32800+TTL for a 2014 DCSB pyrite mica(love the color) with 3" Toytech lift, wheel upgrade, tire upgrade. The add-on's really hurt me in getting a better price simply because I didn't know anything about the options.

Not sure it's the "best" deal but I'm happy. Now time to get some step-up bars!
