I haven't read what he has done but hate to see these kids potentially ruin their careers like this.

Burglary probe I think (where no charges were filed...I THINK that's what I read).

He didn't ruin his career. If he can stay clean for the next year, he'll be in the NFL next year. All this will be forgotten. He's just a sophomore this year isn't he? Or is he a RS Soph? If he is, he's been out of high school for 2 years and could go ahead and try to go the free agent route to the NFL this year, I guess? I don't know how old the kid is.

I thought I read that he was a burglary suspect but had multiple other off the field problems recently. I'm also pretty sure that he's only a Sophomore right now. He'll probably find some Junior College for a year and then make it to the league or come back and play for some other school and then go pro.

Didn't he get in trouble for pot not long ago?

Yea, if he's a soph he'll go Juco, then come back to the big leagues. Don't know why I was thinking you could go pro after 2 years. It's 3. It's been a long night...girlfriend's brother is getting married tomorrow...been at the rehearsal dinner since like 6.....

Lol. I feel your pain. I was going to go to any of the 1 billion sporting events during Super Bulldog Weekend (bigtime sports weekend with plenty of games going on from the Spring Game to a Tennis match) but I've got 2 tests this coming week to study for.

I didn't make it to G day. A friend that went posted on Facebook his thoughts on it. He thinks the D will be much improved which isn't necessarily saying much. But his comment on Mason concerns me. He just stated that he just needs to get his education. I've seen some good out of him but I think due to lack of experience he's not where he needs to be and I kinda think I'd rather see one of the young guys take their lumps for the long haul rather than have another one year QB again. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong though. Maybe, hopefully the defense will be improved enough that Mason can be a game manager and just good enough to keep us in contention. My friend stated that Ramsey has a cannon which I've heard before. Not sure who will be the 2nd string though? I did see some of the highlights and was pleased to see Gurley looking like top form after the injuries he's been dealing with.

It's amazing how different people see things. I've seen good and bad from Mason and am just afraid of his inexperience plus the fact I'm not sure what kind of o line he'll have to give him time to make reads. Hopefully he'll be fine. At least we do have a lot of depth running the ball to help keep defenses honest.

Mason didn't throw an INT all spring. Doesn't mean a lot, but it's gotta say something about his decision making. From what I saw, he seemed to manage the game Fairly well. Gurley's looking beastly, and If Michael Bennett can make catches like his one handed full extension on an over thrown ball, we might have multiple deep play threats.
