My wife said I can have whatever I want! Oh...I forgot...she's my Ex.

Sometimes I pretend to ask her if I can have something, and then I pretend she says, No! I then pretend to tell her to STFU and get it...:D God...what a great feeling...lmao!:D

So...this guys on another thread contemplating modifying his suspension from stock to off-road capable asks the question of whether it's worth it.

My response: (I crack myself up sometimes...:D)

Quote: I'll go against the grain here. Life's Short! We're on the path to death, so let's enjoy the ride! Go for the whole F'ing enchilada and build yourself a beast. Whether you drive it off road or not...To be determined...

Let's say we have a "2012" scenario and the world goes to shit. I want to be able to take my ass off the beaten path and know I'm capable of doing so, while everyone else is stuck in traffic on a paved road...lol! But that' me...

    I'm building a beast...

    Too long to list :D
Hey Ratha! Maybe check the polarity on your welder? You said you get little balls (lol, little balls) when you use it. I would bet the polarity is set for gas welding. Flux core is usually Electrode negative so your clamp should be on the + side. Also make sure you have a nice tip. If the tip is worn out it will mess with your welds. I have a bunch of .035 tips if you need, and maybe an extra .025, but no .030..

I've don both flux core and gas welding with the polarity set wrong, almost always gives you little balls with no penetration.. That's what she said.. :anonymous:

Thats a good price for a TIG, a great price MIG/TIG! Let me know after a while what your gas costs are. That is the only reason I haven't taken up TIG.. And do you know if either shop stocks 25/75 or 75/25 bottles ready to go?

A man with a plan

Yeah, pure argon. $200 to fill a bottle. I might end up using more flux core where possible to save gas.
