Morning, folks! Been busy beyond belief both at work and at home - drop by just to scan through and try to keep up with the news...and now finally have some time to post.

I think I mentioned last year that I was working on a donation for the college. Yesterday we made the formal announcement that Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation had made a $2.5 million gift to the college in support of our petroleum and natural gas school. It's the largest single gift ever made to the college.

I sure wish I could have been making $75K a year starting salary with just an associates degree when I was 20. We have a near 100% placement rate for the grads. Amazing.

I'm working on another potential gift that could make this one seem puny - keep your fingers crossed for me.

Finally getting some warmer weather up here in northeast PA! Looks like I'll be able to get some work done outside this weekend!!

    Morning all.
Glad things are going well 6.
    Hope it continues.

The Sportster is out and washed.
New plugs in and ready to go.
Sounds of spring. :). :burnrubber: :taco:

May pull the Tacoma out and do a interior clean.
One small patch of snow left in the yard.
Next week going to try and get the the boat up from the back.
Still to wet to try today. Yard repair is not on my list and I don't want to put it there.

The best day of the year so far. Warm, sunny, slight breeze.
    It's about time..........

 So glad Mike and you are finally catching a break. Enjoy it boys, you sure earned it with Winter you endured!

    Sorry about the UPS.

Just woke from the morning nap. Time for some errands and over to Randy's for some work on the Dodge Cummins ... Getting things ready for fishing and hunting this Summer. :yay:

    What a day.
    Bike runs great.
    Got the truck cleaned inside.
    Will do the windows tomorrow.
Might have scored a push mower.
    Mine needs a carb.
This one is a toro 6.5 horse.
    Self propelled.
Hasn't been run in like 7 years.
    Will play with that tomorrow.
If it works out one less thing to deal with.
    Oh yea
    Electric start.
I'm turning into such a woose. But a $420 mower for $100. I'll take it..

If the carb is just clogged up with jellied fuel a good cleaning will fix that. At worst a new carb is only $35 to $45.

Change the oil, sharpen the blade/ clean and/or replace the spark plug. Install a new fuel filter and air filter as well. Most of the time I can make a mower like new for $50 including the oil cost. There is always someone in the family that wants a mower.

Morning all, this retirement is killing me:rolleyes:...I need to go back to W#@K ...never thought I would say that. Getting over the cold and feeling better but still overseeing the repairs at the clubhouse, driving for the dealer and helping out my son at his place:eek:...and trying to squeeze in some of the Honey-Do list to keep the missus happy:D...I need a break...

    Morning Ken.

If you need a break, take a break. I thought that was supposed to be the point of being retired? You can be busy on your own schedule...and take a break on your own schedule. ;)

Glad you are feeling better. Seems a pretty nasty bug going around, up here too. About the time I got over mine, my co-worker came down with it. Another reason I really wanted to take that night off when I had the fever. Oh well, it is what it is.
