Yep. How hard is it to show your receipt (that's one of the LP duties at CC) at the door? Apparently it's worth throwing temper tantrums over.

When I was doing LP, we had an office in the basement, and just watched monitors. And by that, I mean we watched all the pretty women that came into the store..

mike, i was wondering why haven't you took out the composite bed already, seems like you are always cutting holes on it LOL, perhaps it would be better to take it out, assemble everything then patch the holes spaces with some laminated steel?

The composite holds the battery boxes and fuel cell for now. I expect that I'll pull the bed eventually but for now it's working pretty well for me. Sufficiently strong to bolt to without adding weight or cost to the build.

This is one of those rare times where it's easy enough to keep what's on the truck rather than scrap it and start fresh. Without the bed I'd need custom mounts for both the batteries and the fuel cell in addition to needing supports for the rear fenders.

I'm not too concerned with hacking up the sides of the bed since they only support the rear fiberglass fenders. All the weight is supported by the bed floor, and that has so far been uncompromised by all the modifications. :)

Not sure what you meant by that. I'm not expecting to become a pro at anything by reading up on build like this one for example, but than again you never kno what you can learn. Besides this build is sick and I can't wait to see the end result.

    Thanks.
