So my lift I'd finally complete. I have the ome 885 coilovers, with rear ome shocks on the rear with a pair of all pro 3.0 leaf springs.

Wrench Week is looking like a reality. A tentative schedule:
    1. Sat, May 17th - 2 Open Bays
    2. Sun, May 18th - Pull Rear Axle and Paint 1st Coat
    3. Mon, May 19th - Pull Transmission, Install Flywheel, Paint 2nd Coat
    4. Tue, May 20th - Reinstall Transmission, Paint 3rd Coat
    5. Wed, May 21st - Reinstall Rear Axle, replace u-joints.
    6. Thu, May 22nd - Install Winch + 1 Open Bay
    7. Fri, May 23rd - Belts, Pulleys, Blinker Relocation, Aim Lights, etc. + 1 Open Bay
    8. Sat May 24th - We ride.

This is very tentative and will firm up as the week nears. I will have sign ups for the days there is an open bay for anyone wanting to do some work. However, the day-to-day activities may change depending on how well things go or don't go with the rear axle and transmission. If there is room and I am home, I will do my best to accommodate peeps.

Water, pop and various beverages will be available. Any help would be appreciated and fed.

I'm picking up some tools/equipment but might be looking to borrow a floor jack, an extra set of jack stands and some old bearing races to use as presses.

If anyone wants to get work done, please let me know what the job would be so I can better plan the week.

I got you on all the extra tools... What is the diamiter of the bearings? I have many over sized sockets that may fit, or else we could cut some wood in the correct circumference.

Ya. Its all installed. Looks funny with the stock tires. But I do have to take out the front passenger coilover and take the spacer out. Passenger side is a tad higher. Love the lift tho

    So very telling.

I'm attempting to put together an off-road outing as a work team-building thing. The office has 5 Jeep owners, an FJ Cruiser owner and me. The owner of the FJ stopped in and told me he wasn't into off-roading for the sake of off-roading. He bought it to be able to drive in to his elk kills. Haven't heard a single peep from any of the Jeep owners. Figures.

Replaced the wheel bearing/hub assemblies and I can notice a huge difference. It is much smoother now. Also greased the UCA bushings and will change the oil and rear diff fluid tomorrow.

Thinking about a low profile toolbox these days, would be nice to have lockable space to get the tools out of the cab and would have room to store my compressor and spare parts in there As well .
