Hey guys I'm new here so bear with me. I have a 1988 toyota pickup I swapped in a 2003 3.4 v6. I then added a supercharger. My windshield leaked and fried my computer and I was told that the 2003 ecm is not flashable. However a 2006 is. Does anybody know what it would take to put a 2006 or newer ecm in my truck and flash it for a supercharger? It's is a first gen TRD charger.

 

He highlighted "arguably" after which he then provided said requested argument.

 

Don't think a 2nd gen ecm would work with 1st gen engine...

I think that's a pretty good deal considering stuff on it already including the weathertechs, Camper and LineXd bed. Not to mention the hunter green! I wish mine was hunter green. Look into it and see if timing belt and water pump had been done? Even if it wasn't I'd say it's still a pretty good deal.

 

I think it's a pretty good deal. I see them in worse shape than that with more miles go for 15+ at dealerships. I'd jump on it if he'd do 13k.

This one v6 and green (I like green). But its prerunner (fine by me I dont really wheel just like the 4x4 height) I THINK it'd go good in the snow with the e locker...

 

Doesnt seem like a bad deal... But if I have learned anything from my taco purchase it is that I should have held out for a 4x4 because the day will come where you wished you had it! Just my .02
