Chase and Larson are the next superstars of NASCAR. This is my first class I've really got to see "grow up" in front of me. Going to be an exciting future for sure.

On another note, WTF Jimmie. Get your shit together man! lol

The average cost per car for Hendrick Motorsports each weekend race is $700,000. 2 cars make that $1,400,000 per week. Counting 36 races means it costs just over $50 million a season for just 2 cars. (Since Hendrick fields 4 cars, that means $100,000,000 per year average. That is based solely on the cost of the cars, transportation, fuel, tires, etc. Doesn't take into account salaries of employees and such. Still probably not as much as F1 for sure. I just never did get into F1.

I grew up with Nascar, so that is where I hang my hat. Even got the chance to drive a couple of practice cars years back for some small teams. Back in the early and mid 90s they would take local drivers and use them for testing vehicles because their primary drivers were either busy racing, or busy taking time off. lol. I drove 4 times at different tracks in Texas. What a rush back then. Sadly I was not good enough to catch an eye.

Found it on foxsports.com, for once they put the race on the list to watch through my cable company. I would get Sprint, but service is sketchy here in the boonies

Really good race there at the end. I said when everyone took 2 and Harvick took for that if we had a caution Harvick would win it. Dunno why Jimmie didn't choose the inside lane on that restart to block Harvick. Oh well, at least we had a repeat winner. Too bad it was Harvick. Stewart-Haas is on fire this season.

I agree with you. I am surprised as well that JJ didn't take the bottom line. Also the 2 tire stop was an unfortunate gamble. Even if Harvick took 2 tires, and was back out front, JJ and Junior on 4 tires would have ran him down. And if JJ and Junior DID take 4, and Harvick took his 4, they would have had a chance at it. Ah well. That is the name of the game. I was happy to see Danica not backing down as much as she usually does. The girl drives TOO clean most of the time. She isn't taking chances like she should. I did enjoy seeing her race Almirola and not give in to him there. She still needs to work harder though. I think she just doesn't seem to want it bad enough. Still averaging a better finish than last year. Did better than a lot of other drivers today. I was glad she didn't get her Darlington stripe!

Trying to find out if there's a "Toyota Only" parking. I think I saw something like that last year.
