Spring 44. It's a local bourbon.

 

I assumed whiskey based on "whiskey bent and hell bound" and it usually accompanies a cigar, but I didn't know if it was just whiskey

 

Yeah I leave nothing to the imagination. I spent my youth drinking everything and now that I can afford it I drink whiskey, bourbon, or scotch. Mostly the first two. I drink a lot of local stuff which is jive.

 

I keep a bottle of makers around, but I don't drink much, I don't do straight though. usually whiskey sour

 

nothing beats a good scotch on the rocks

 

I'll mix it too. I'm not a snob by any means. Just when burning a cigar I like it straight.

I agree there is a time and a place for it straight.

 

I can't do any liquor straight or on the rocks, pallet just way too sensitive.

Certain ones I can. I drink Strannahans straigh, with a few ice cubes or a
Few drops of water (another Colorado one), the spring 44 is new to me but I like it so I'll take it straight. Then my go to for the more known companies is Jameson I'll drink it straight or mix it.

 

I'll get whiskey sours, but I'll knock em back pretty hard
