Yup. Lawnmowers and kids yelling and screaming in the pool next door.
You're all wound down, climb into bed and on the verge of sleep......then......
The lawnmowers start. Never fails.

Ear plugs I used them when the kids and grandkids moved in with us for 6 months when they moved back up from Texas. Took a few days to get used to sleeping them (soft foamies), but worked like a charm.

Stayed busy all night...but it went quick. One more shift tonight then off 'til Tuesday night.

So ditto on enjoying the weekend and staying safe out there. Don't let Spring fever lull you into doing something stupid.

It's been a good weekend with the parents & sister. The dinner cruise was nice with good input from the crew of the sights. Food was great & it lasted about three hours.

Found out today I got a day shift spot!!! Mon-thurs 10 hr days. C-ya suckers!!!!

Dammit ... is it time to go home yet? Busy all week ... and then dead tonight. I honestly prefer busy ... makes the time pass quicker. Almost torture watching the clock inch along.

Been in the yard since 7am. I'm done.

Fck it. Watching Meecum auto auction in high def, wishing I had $20k. SoOOO many nice vehicles going thru.

 

They had 4 cyclone GT's go thru earlier. And whatever the predecesor was? talledaga? or something.

 

And we're back. Day 1 of 2 and I'm way over it already.

I am back.

The trip was good man. I really enjoyed the time with the parents and sister. It was a really nice, relaxing, break. Then I come here and it's loud and obnoxious...the second I walk in the door. Just about had one for the "things that set you off" thread and I about went off on the fuck yelling in my ear. But, it's all better, I just walked away.

I liked it. I've been several times but, it was a first for my dad and the only time the rest of them had spent the night. Everyone liked it...the food was excellent by the way.
