Installed new shoes. Fierce Attitude M/T 285/70/17. Washed and waxed. There should be 5 in the stack. Installer started before I could snap the pic. Wanted 35"s but PCSing to Germany so i think that would be a bit much for the parking garage's over there.

Did my 30K service. First time I've done any of this on my truck since Toyota took care of it for the first 25k.
Oil Change....switched to Mobil 1 full synthetic 5-30. Also put in a Fumoto drain valve to make future oil changes easier because of my Pelfreybily IFS skid.
    Oil Filter-OEM
    Air Filter-OEM
Diff oil change. Used Lucas 80-90 dyno oil
    Changed out spark plugs.

Took several nuts off and put them back on in preperation for a add-a-coil Zuks mod thinga merbob im workin on. My father-in-law had some 4"x20" coils that i cut down and welded a top and bottom plate that measure 12" now. Stock u bolts secure it on the bottom(just like the bump stop) after removing bump stop and i will bolt the top into the frame where the bump stop would bump. When fully compressed i still have 4.5" so it should act as its own bump stop. Anyway its costing me nothing but and if it doesnt work oh well. Ill have to drop my leaf from the shackle and and put it in jack it back up and reattach everything.[IMG] and my calves are huge, and thats why i usually wear pants.

Let's see stated the day off with a non tacoma related project. Finished my chicken coup. Now on to the tacoma fiasco. Started off really well did an oil change in what felt like less than 10 minutes. Sat on the front porch and had a coke while deciding if I wanted to rotate my tires. I decided to do it another day. Still everything going great. Now time to grease my u joints. Crawled up under the truck put the grease gun on the fitting. One squeeze two squeeze cool lets move to the next fitting.....nope the nozzle won't come off the fitting....WTF. So I pull and twist and pull.... That sounds dirty... Well the damn grease fitting breaks off. Shit what do I do now. So I go to the auto parts store and get a pack of s.a.e and metric grease fittings and an extraction bit. It's 4 pm at this point. Places are closing on a Sunday. So I get home and well I don't have a drill. I have an impact but no drill. So off to harbor freight to get a t Handel for a tap. I figured that would work.....WRONG. That was a PITA. So I figure I need a drill anyway so off to get a drill I was at 5:15. Stores close at 6. Get a drill and get home at 6. Tighten the extraction bit in the drill, climb back under the truck and with in 15 seconds bam the old broke fitting is out. 2 hrs of driving around and whatnot for what took 15 seconds with the correct tools.
