Such a BADASS winch design! So simple and clean and functional.

 

So sick man! This is about what I want the front of my truck to look like someday very aggressive but not too much going on

 

This doesn't look to hard to do even for a rookie like myself. I should do this someday especially after the new gears I'll be getting soon And I drive through a lot of water so I'm sure it would benefit my truck greatly.

 

siped KM2s ftw! and none of that center siping only bs...lumpskie

 

Indeed blackdawg. They in hard pack and ice...but a full siping makes them much more manageable as I have learned and for $45 bucks for all four tires, you can't beat that.

 

I drove a lot this winter with my siped km2s around 30psi instead of 40psi which I run any other time of year and it seemed to help out quite a bit. Would have been nice to be able to turn them easier tho but that will change before this next winter

 

This might be something I could benefit from..

That bracket actually made a big difference. For around $20, I couldn't have made it cheaper myself. I say go for it!

 

It does man. If you ever go back to km2s you should try it. But it sounds like those duratracs are workin well for ya. I never wanted them just cause we had em on our fire crew trucks and I wasn't about to put the same tires on my yota if ya know what i'm sayin. I'll have to see where my bpv is at now and I'm sure i'll say ya i need that bracket

In other news, I got a call from a friend that was stuck out in the wilderness... in the middle of a blizzard... without a radio or winch... at sundown yesterday. A small group of us set up a rescue operation to get him home. I'll post up a few pics of that tonight. BUT, for now, I noticed one good advantage of HIDs over LEDs. They still make enough heat to melt ice on the lens!
