I go out to down town San Jose every weekend and I pay in the 5 (or 6?) story well lit parking garage. I park at the edge as to give the car next to me enough space to open the doors without hitting my truck and have been doing this for some time without incident.

Last weekend as I was going to take a friend home, We notice the tail gate is down... That's fine, Someone just needed a seat. I close the tail gate and open the door to get in when my eye catches something in the reflection of my fender.

When I got home I got to work on getting my hand behind the fender to pull it out, But the dent was quite deep and indented the edges of the wheel well, So It now looks a bit wavy but it's not as deeply dented. I should of perhaps tried one of those dent pull kit things they have at auto parts stores.

Last night, Still focused on the fender I noticed as I walked up to my truck that the quarter panel right next to/above the fuel door was dented in too.

I'm pretty sure it's from the same time, As I started parking where it was in plain sight... This makes vandalism #4.

A bout 10 months ago, When parked down the street out of sight a girl decided to do this... I think I know who did this one (Crazy girl I warned my friends of)

2 years ago an ex friend let the air out of my tires, Luckily he was somewhat decent enough to not slash the tires or anything but driving slowly through town looking for a gas station with an air pump at 2AM was not fun...

And a month after I bought the truck some kids wasted about 4 cups of coffee on the back and driver side... I'm so tired of this truck on multiple levels, It's bright red so it's too attention grabbing. I've had 8 other cars and no one touchest them but they were all darker colors

I need to find better parking... I asked the parking attendant if there were any cameras and he told me they are in the middle. So I started parking there, Except for last night... I paid in the small $8 lot (cash only [parking structure is $5 but takes credit/debit too]) where everyone can see it.

It was keyed when I had it parked down the street in the free not really lit parking lot... (Not the street, In the street is where someone bumped the back bumper doing only very minor scuffing that mostly buffed out).

I feel you man... I found out some cock hole put 4 door dings in my car while it was parked at work last friday... That really ruined my day

It's amazing to me how little respect people have for others property.

Putting sliders on helps prevent door dings from cars. I've found paint on mine several times now. And yes, people who vandalize other people's cars should be caned.

Yes it is the color that is causing it. Wait, No it isn't the color. As previously stated you need to get Better Parking, Better Friends, and move to a better part of town.

Wise saying, not sure it applies or not:
If the first person you meet is an asshole, he is an asshole. If everyone you meet is an asshole, you are the asshole.

One of my friends thinks with his penis 99% of the time, The girl became obsessive and from what I knew of her (having a new "boy friend" every 2 weeks) I told him she's a bit psycho... He hit it, she wanted a relationship, he didn't and I guess she wanted to take out her revenge on me for some reason for his actions... After I told a few people I know she did it (i saw her that night and her new/now ex boy friend was parked in the same lot) she never showed back up down town.

Thousands of people go out to my area of down town san jose, I've seen drunk people act crazy everywhere and none of my friends have had an incident where I've had 2... They park in the same area's too. It's nothing about the people I hang out with... I blame the color as it's bright as hell red and usually very clean.

It's actually one of the "nicer" areas of san jose... Not santana row or anything but it's pretty tidy in comparison to the rest of the city.

    All the same street

The big ass multi level parking lot is where I was parked where the dents occured, Further up the street with the orange crane is where she got keyed.

Since I go out to the same place often (over 2 years), I know all the regulars... He's one of the regulars, Some times we'll hang out before going to the bars or we'll just all meet up at the bars. So he drives as often... No one's touched his 2010 pussy-maro (V6, Automatic Camaro RS) except the same guy that let the air out of my tires did the same to the camaro at the same time (we were parked beside eachother and the guy knew both of us)

I live 60 miles from san jose... I'd have to leave my truck else where and cab there.

That was a waste of a good burrito.

I would really be pissed, boiling pissed.
My last truck I had some dip dumped their garage in the bed.
I was at the airport picking up my wife and parked in the deck, short term parking.
It looked like they had bought something to eat at one of the places in the airport, what the didn't eat they just tossed into the bed of my truck along with all the trash.
I was in the airport less than one hour.
Man, would have been great to catch this guy.

As for the new truck, no issues yet, it's still young.
So sad we can't have nice things without someone trying to destroy it.

That sucks! It doesn't look like the metal is creased...

I have had good luck with PDR (paintless dent repair) in the past. Do a bit of research and you should be able to find a decent PDR Tech in your area!

Here is what I had fixed and my result!
