    Sure, except no dealer on Sunday, plus trying to drill out the old bolts. I'd probably have had to cut the whole thing apart just to put it back together. even welding upside down under the truck was easier than that.

    only burned a couple hairs off, so that's a win.

    1st gens are real trucks!! I kind of wish I built another extra cab because the proportions look right when you stuff big tires under them. But this isn't about looks, it's about function :cool: 4 doors FTW!

    Yeah. You can spend a day cutting and grinding brackets down and you're still left with a weak frame that NEEDS plating. It took me a couple hours to chop the frame off and another half a day to get the new frame fitted. Worth every bit of time starting from a clean slate. Plus I built the new frame higher so I have clearance for some good uptravel numbers.

    Yeah, can't beat em for $15! They've helped quite a bit for moving both axles around.

    33x10.50s ftmfw. I love mine so far. The main thing I like is they fit almost perfect pike they were made for these trucks. Now if only they made a 35x10.50 or 35x11.50
