How's it going guys. I am pretty new to this forum, but not really to the Tacoma line. My dad had one when I was young and it was also my first car when I turned 16. (2000 Tacoma Prerunner SR5 Ext.Cab.) Not too long ago, I started working another job. So I started upgraded my 2000 Yota. Well after it was lifted(RoughCountry), new tires (33x10.5 BF G's), wheels (Pacer Warrior), tint, complete audio system(2-12" MTX Terminator, 4-6.5" Kicker, Pioneer HU). Well it was basically maxed out on what I could do to it. Well I got the crazy urge one day to buy a new truck. So I looked around for a while and finally found the one. I bought a 2009 Tacoma 4.0L V6 Double Cab 4x4. It only had a little over 36,000 miles on it. It was just what I wanted in a truck. It was lifted, had nice all terrain tires on it, nice wheels, and most importantly was 4 wheel drive. At first I was torn between buying a brand new truck that was stock, and a used truck that was the way I wanted it. After about a month of having it, I am so glad I picked this one, because now I stick out from all the new stock Tacomas.

Well after that long drawn out intro, what do you guys think I should do to it next? I want to add some lights to it, but I'm not sure if I should go with an led bar or just some regular round light. Also, I'm wanting to get a billet or mesh grille, and also upgrade the audio system.

What kind of sound system does it have now? If go with what you want to do first. I mean get the grille and lights together.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Welcome to TW. The site will be a great resource to you in your mods.

There are a bunch of free and low cost mods you should check out.

For stereos depends what you are looking for. Bora base deck the Panasonic PRS-180 is a great value. I have it and am very satisfied.

It has just the regular stock sound system in it now. And it currently has a 6" Pro Comp lift under it.

I'd rather not spend too much money, but I also want something with good quality. I'd like to spend less than $500 if possible. I also have an amp I can use, are you familiar with wiring an amp to door speakers? if so, is it similar to the way you wire a sub?
