Do any of you Audiophile's convert Youtube tunes to music files for your tunes? If so what's the best site or method you use WAV/AIFF/FLAC/ALAC? Maybe something new I've never heard of?

I'm looking for feedback on your prefered choice file type and method (via site or whatever). To get the best quality music file possible from youtube

    Thanks

    Fuck no.

Youtube compression is HORRIBLE. There is no way you can regain a wav/flac/aiff file quality once it is on youtube.

Haha Yeah I knew it was bad and you wouldn't be able to regain the true original quality.. But in the case that you found some music on there that you couldn't find anywhere else, and you still wanted to convert it. What would you use to get the best possible?

So i just had a thought..

i used to use RealPlayer to rip off youtube vids. You can also use it to rip off just the audio and i think it'll do whatever format you want..

That said..you still won't get great quality even if you choose .wav or whatever due to it being tainted by youtube in the first place..
