I'm not regearing just to get more torque off road. I want it to be close to stock on the highway.

I feel like 4:88's will be closer to stock with 35's than 5:29's. Plus I may be on 4:88's with my 33's before I get 35's. Just seems like a better all around gearing to me....
Doubt it, a friend I wheeled with in New Mexico had one. Didn't see the benefit of it over cost. I'm not a rock crawler, I just like to explore.

Haha yeah you really won't. I can see the benefit of having one though. I personally won't dish out the cash and work for it but sometimes it would be really nice to have.

You will see the benefit now with the bigger tires.

I said I could see the benefit. Even with small tires it would have just been nice to be able to have a slower speed. The water crossings come to mind when you can't see what you are going over and when you might drop. My 4lo was way to fast and I would end up bouncing the truck all over the place.

Axe, shovel, and the rest of my quickfist stuff came in today.

Got to work on boring out the holes for the accessory bars and my drill battery died....

So I'll just work on it tomorrow I guess... Haha

Rack looks good Brent, if I didn't have the canopy I'd really consider going this route with a rtt.

Thanks, it's a Fiskars X15 axe and a Troy Bilt shovel. Both on Amazon for pretty cheap.

    Here's the shovel.

Thanks! Hope I have time to get it painted soon!

Still have to figure out how to mount the hi lift. That sucker is too heavy to be very high on the rack...

Looks like you got the splitting axe. I have normal one. Great axes. Only ever broke two.

I have had mine in my truck since the day i got the truck. I love it. Sharpen it with the angle grinder then soak it in WD-40

The switches you have.. are they upper dependant, lower independent?

    Haha thanks!
Yup. Top comes on when the switch is on, bottom comes on only if the dash lights are on.
