Although you have to be much more careful handling glass carboys, I figured glass would be much easier and safer to sanitize, and the chance of contaminating the beer would be less.

I was first introduced to it up at Rahr & Sons Brewery. I was brewing a 90 gal batch with a club up there and they were all using it to clean their stuff. I did some asking around and everyone swore by it. Since I have been using it the last 8 months or so I really like it.
