Mr. Team C, do you know of any bodies similar to the one on the ST you just posted that don't overhang the rear so far?

I'm looking for a more durable body for the jato, but don't need the body overhang like the one you posted has, since mine's a mid motor. the jato body fits just fine, but nobody makes an aftermarjet jato body that i can find, which means i'm stuck with the very weak traxxas body. I tried a proline body made for the rustler. the size was fine, but due to the rustler shock tower setup, there were the large shock lumps interfering with my body post locations.

sounds like $50 on Amazon prime will have you up and running again. with shipping, i doubt that even if someone on here had a whole front end, that they'd be able to get it to you that cheap with 100% working parts...........but i'm wrong a lot.

Seeing that 58'' atomic the other day got me pretty boat hungry (again). I really want a large scale boat, but i have to do a lot more research first. so to scratch the itch for now, i'm converting the mini boat to brushless. thing should be doing backflips out of the water by the weekend.

ran by a shop on lunch and picked up a 1/16-1/18 scale brushless morotor, a 20 amp esc, and another reciever. stock reciever in the boat is built into the esc, so i figured i'd just get a new one and maybe use the old one for something else.

    old vs new

I got a fightercat Daytona hull its about 31" (catamaran), has carbon fiber inlay already but is not rigged at all so you will need to drill and mount everything. I plan on building it at some point but I don't for see that anytime soon..

Apreciate it. figured out my setup though.....time to build up that cat so we can run when i get up there :D

As I did/am doing eith the trucks, I am buying smaller to figure thihngs out, and then will go big once i feel i'm up to speed on everything boat. It's a more expensive way to do things, but has resulted in knowing more when i start to upgrade or buy larger vehicles.

Picked up two vessels this weekend. First is an Aquacraft Revolt 30' monohull. I don't plan on it fulling my want for a large boat that can handle rough water, but rather a good boat to learn tuning, maintaining, and modification on. That being said, it actually did pretty well with some fair sized chop. wind on the other hand, it is terrible in.....

the second boat is an aquacraft mini alligator tours airboat. got that one to serve the purpose of a recovery vehicle, for when the revolt flips over, and the wind doesn't push it back to shore.

Already modifying it to better suit it's purpose. First thing was to put a lexan shroud around th eprop for a little better power. Brushless will be coming, just have to find a 380 can system i like.

the bug change though is going to be the detachable push bar. gave braising a try for the first time last night. turns out it's pretty easy and very fun. here's what i have so far:

here it is with the shroud. had to relocate the battery on top of the boat because i tossed a 1/10 scale esc in the compartment to give me the ability to have reverse.

Here's the unfinished push bar. i still have to make the quick dissconnects for the boat, as well as the stabilizing outrigger pontoons.

Colin, pick up a s&b m545 prop for the revolt, its by far the best prop iv found for the stock setup. Its a solid boat but not meant for speeds above 50, I upgraded the motor and stepped up to a seaking 180, the boat did run fine but speeds above 50 the hull just dosnt like it, you will need to blueprint it to handle the faster speeds. I just went back to stock and the m545, its a fun pond boat, not meant for speed.

here it is with the m545

I also got a little reef racer 2, that I put a bushless system in, should run with your air boat
