none of us are saying we use tinder instead of going out, but tinder can be good for during the week when people aren't out drinking every night

 

At least in person you can't hide "you" And you have to actually talk, as opposed to putting up a beauty shot and wording your statements "carefully"

some girls have a stick up their butt about meeting in bars. I have had several girls tell me that there is no way they would date someone they met in a bar. Mostly because they believe that no guys trying to meet girls in bars have good intentions.

 

Unless we were both DD's, I wouldnt date someone I met in a bar

 

you could meet the exact same person anywhere else and it would be ok? Say at church the next morning while asking for forgiveness for the night before. Where you meet the person has no affect on the relationship

Im not religous...so no. And yeah I wouldn't date someone I met at a bar. If we reconnected outside the bar setting and she fit my qualifications then yeah maybe. Depends on the circumstances. In a bar....no.


Isn't religion suppose to give you the guidance to keep from sinning and not a cop out because you intentionally sinned.....?

It's stupid to think that you should feel any differently about a girl you met in class or in the park than if you met the exact same girl in the bar. Why is it ok for you to date a girl who goes out to bars, but it's not ok to meet them there? Unless you just don't go out to bars, then that works.

I would never pre-judge the result of a relationship based on where I met a girl, and I would never leave "reconnecting outside the bar" to chance, I would get the number so I could meet her again to find out. You know how often I, by chance, crossed paths with the same girl twice in my life? Almost never.

 

Would you rather buy a truck when it's caked in mud, dust interior/engine bay, sticky steering wheel or fresh and clean?

Nope. Doesnt mean you have to know who they are right then.. im just saying next year you could run into a girl from one of your classes and hit it off

 

next time you meet a girl, you should tell her that. "Even though we both like to go out and drink, I'm glad we met outside the bar because meeting you in the bar would be like buying a truck when it's caked in mud, dust interior/engine bay, sticky steering wheel."
