What type of gaskets do these have?

 

Same question I have. Could bought some brand new for $85 at a gun show the other day, but didn't have viton gasket or red strap

 

I assume since the caps have red straps they have the Viton gasket and not the rubber, but the first post doesn't specify.

These are great cans and the price is reasonable, especially if the gaskets and flanges are new.

 

Red strap caps should come with Viton gasket

These come with BRAND NEW red straps/viton gaskets. These are brand new assembled caps.

whats the advantage of these over regular jerry cans?

 

They don't leak

 

Tough as shit(if you see one in person you'll know)

Plastic(Thick layer and it doesn't rust as a result)


Its an overall overkill type gas can that can hold the fuel without letting the fumes out and leaking whenever it's eventually time to fuel up with it.

Its pretty much one of the toughest and stable gas cans you could ever purchase (right up there with rotopax i'd argue) without the extra expensive that comes with the rotopax(additional mounts, ect) it's what made me turn away from rotopax in the first place. Naturally since i've joined the Army last year i've seen these in action first hand and I'm nothing but impressed, the water cans are the same way.
