lol Wut? C4 is a preworkout...a shitty one at that. If you're wanting results in 8 weeks, you need to be buying your supps in a gym locker room

If its your first start with half scoop, for most people its enough when they are just starting.

EDIT: Also 8 Weeks is plenty of time if you go for an hour or 2, 3 times a week. You will start to see some real result in a couple weeks.

I just started taking C4 a few weeks ago after almost a year of not taking a pre-workout and it didn't do anything for me. To get any sort of boost, I've got to do 1.5-2 scoops.

Anyway, a pre-workout and a protein shake aren't gonna show any noticeable muscle gain in 8 weeks. You will definitely see some change (With a good diet), but you're not gonna look like a bodybuilder in 8 weeks. Naturally, you may gain up to 2 lbs in 8 weeks if your diet is spot on. That's going to come with some fat gain, as well. So you'll probably gain 6-15 lbs total, depending on how your diet is. Muscle gain is an extremely lengthy process. Next time you're at the store, go pick up a 1 lb. steak...that's a shit ton of meat.

Most preworkouts don't work well for me either, I have to take the hard core stuff just to feel it.

with the stuff I just got im gonna do halve a scoop on Tuesdays and the weekend when I work out. and when I am gonna change things up or add weight ill move up to a full scoop. I would like to keep my tolerance low so it works better.

    Hi everybody!!!

Haven't really come in here in a while. A few months ago I was at 165 lbs and right now I'm sitting steadily at 170 lbs (when I wake up and after having taken a dump  ) I'm 5'6".

I haven't eaten any bread in about 3.

Meal 1:Mostly eggs and bacon in the morning or boiled eggs. I make ten whole eggs and eat half at breakfast and the second half 3 hours later. A banana or strawberries and blackberries.

Meal 2: Same as meal 1

Meal 3: Usually oven roasted chicken with seasoning and either broccoli or oven roasted red potato (only half of one).

Meal 4: Usually chicken of some sort, legs or chicken breast or ground beef (90/10) that I prepare in bulk. Ground beef with onions, garlic, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeños, and a bit of salt. And maybe some fruit.

Meal 6: Most of the time just some fruit because I'm so damn stuffed, or just a cup of either the ground beef

Meal 7: Chicken and rice with beans, or something light and some fruit.

I'm usually pretty lenient with the last two meals of the day. But I always get some protein and some form of carbs in there or some kind of veggies.

I get checked every 6 months by the VA and my cholesterol is always great so I don't really worry about eating too many eggs.

I see we're playing sleeveless, can I play?!

Except for cheese, ketchup and the hotwing sauce I sometimes use with the chicken legs I rarely eat processed foods. I stopped eating bread because it really f*cks my insides up. :p

When I stopped eating bread a few months ago (can't remember when exactly but it was sometime after the new year and it was not a new years resolution thing, haha) and replaced it with rice and potatoes and more veggies that's when I actually went from 165lbs to 170 lbs..

So yea, that's my little story for now. And for anyone wanting to poke fun at me for my "burger" FUDB!!! I was actually surprised at the weight gain when I went off of the bread and started eating more whole foods. But then again I shouldn't have been.

I feel like I'm doing pretty good progress. Much better at 170lbs now than my 135lbs back in my senior year of high school (graduated in 2005). ha!

I personally like C4. I think most of my pre workout "boost" is just a placebo effect but it worked for me. If you are fairly athletic and have a decent build you can see results quick. Just don't let a small pump get to your head ;).

 Oh yeah, I've seen some people gain 15-20 lbs in their first year of lifting. When I first started, I went from about 145 to 165 in the first year. I know it wasn't all muscle, but a lot was. If you've been outta the gym for a while or if it's your first time ever lifting, muscle gain is insane. Now, I'm glad if I gain close to 10 lbs on a bulk.

This is now my excuse for not lifting. Gotta take 6 months off before I can see some real gains again.

I have lost some size size but maintained a good amount of muscle. Enough to keep me looking bigger than the average joe but not enough to put off the "I have no life outside of the gym and I am probably a douche" vibe. The biggest change I have seen is the decrease in fat fat. Nice to have the 6 pack showing back up with very light lifting 3-4 times a week.
