    A few things
    I have LED headlights on my truck (look exactly like these) and I really love them. Bright white light and looks really cool.
    I have a question about interference with the FM radio. When I turn my headlights on I get some static. As soon as I turn them off it goes away. Is there anything I can do to prevent it? Thanks

    1 or 2 stations have very little static. But I get the same with geographic location. Maybe a ferrite choke on the positive wire. I have some at home I will see if it helps tomorrow.

    Thank you!
    I actually just found out something else that also works. I was told that if the drivers and cables/wires are touching the metal (fender etc) it may cause interference. I had double sided tape holding the drivers down but the cables/wires were touching metal. I zip tied them up and no more static.

    You're going to have problems with the housing freezing over, but I don't think the light itself is going to be a problem. The LEDs run cooler than halogen and so won't be able to defrost the front at those temps. (I assume)

    Good to hear. I will say this just so people have options-The LED setup is better than OE Halogen and is better than a pnp HID setup as far as light dispersion is concerned but to get the best lighting a true HID retrofit is still the way to go. Now, if you don't want to mess with splitting your headlights apart and want a quick and easy setup that provides results then it seems the LED kit is a no brainer.

    I won't argue that. Retrofits are definitely nice and a quality retrofit will put out good light. I honestly just didn't feel like pulling the lens on these lights. The factory lights on the Tacoma are actually some of the best lights I've had in a vehicle. These LED's make them even better with little modification. No doubt though the HID correctly done is very nice indeed.
