As a follow up to my last question about time to get parts, I just called the dealer and they said the leafs were in, but they were waiting on other parts for the springs, should be here Thursday or Friday so I should be going in next week to get this done.

Got my truck back tonight and the vibrations are gone! Also noticed the weird lurch at standstill where it feels like you get rear ended is gone.

Interesting, I have that little lurch. I always figured it was the A/C induced high idle...

It happened on mine without the AC on all the time. I drove it home today without AC on and didn't feel it once. I'll keep driving it obviously over the next few days and see if it comes back.

    FIXED!

Had TSB 0008-14 done to my 2013 TRD OR AC

eliminated all vibes 15-25 and the thing is smooth as butter at all speeds
I did not even know I had slight vibes at other speeds, but apparently I did because this thing is smoother everywhere !

replaced transmission mount, measured driveline angles per TSB 0008-14
    parts installed
    1 12371-31250 insulator, engine
    1 45713-35050 damper, steering
    2 90080-15079 screw, w/washer
    4 90117-A0005 bolt, u
    8 90178-A0050 nut, flange
    8 94622-51400 washer, plain
    2 48341-04090 bumper, RR spring
    1 48220-04320 spring assy, RR L
    1 48210-04680 spring assy, RR

I went from a 3 leaf pack to a 4 leaf pack (3 springs, one helper spring)
rear ride height went up an inch

    IT WORKED FOR ME

I still have a very minor decel 15-25 vibe. Can't really even feel it in the steering wheel anymore, but notice its happening underneath. More of a sound now than anything else.

    Anyone else?

I have slight vibrations now when slowing to a stop.

I didn't notice it when I first got the TSB done, but that was probably because I was so happy to have the acceleration vibration gone.

Nothing major, and nothing I'm going to complain about, but they are there.

yeah mine has a lil decel vibe as well... but it so soft and not invasive that its easily overlooked for the fact that the very bad accel vibe is gone.

    UPDATE

So I took my truck into the Anaheim dealer; After a few hours, I was told about the TSB (I played dumb, like I didnt know anything) and that they need to measure the drive line angles. So I will drop the truck off on a monday (after my week in Death Valley... coming up) so they can order the angle finder tool and do the work.

I dont know that they did the steering damper or anything else... but they are much more receptive to my concerns. Longo toyota acted like they never heard of a TSB, where Anaheim told me about the TSB. Longo Said I have to talk to the regional service rep..... BS. They have way too much "paid" service, that they dont want to deal with TSB issues.

Way to go Anaheim!!! Maybe not...

UPDATE: Service writer tells me my "never worked on" 2012 already has updated parts; Mechanic says that TSB will only improve my driveline vibration, not fully fix it, so he didnt do it... WTF????

So why would I not want the improvement?? Thats why I brought it in. So after these two guys told me two different stories (all three of us sitting there), I am thinking these guys are a joke. Now mechanic says if I am ok with an "improvement", then he will order parts.... And they have had my truck for about 2 weeks now. What a fu@kin joke.

I'm getting ready to take my '12 prerunnner in too, next couple months. Expect tsb hell from the dealer. I didn't buy it there, so will have to put up with some S---, but I'll get it done.
Two wks is a joke. Probably don't have the angle measurement device and don't want to admit it.
Also they should order the parts in advance, and return the ones not needed (extra leaf packs). They KNOW they have to install at least one pack to do the fix. I think they just want to discourage from getting it done. Just make some comment like maybe they don't do much work on trucks/sell many trucks so maybe this is new to their mechanics...That'll get them going.

so do these drivetrain vibration TSBs only cover AT transmissions? I have been trying to get my 2009 vibration issue addressed, but the TSBs i find look like they only apply to autos...

No, mechanic has the angle measuring device. He didnt seem like he wanted to do it; Said "TSB may only improve situation and may not fully fix it, so I didnt think you would want to do it".... again WTF ???

On my '13 DCSB, very noticeable flutter we'll call it when starting from a stop-especially if on an incline. Also, while driving, if you let off of the gas to slow down, wether braking or not, it feels like rumble strips or brake drag. I've had the recalls done, inspected the brakes, lubed the shaft-nothing has worked. I've even had the driveshaft swapped with another for comparison and still no difference. The truck is at the dealer as I'm typing, so we shall see......

Did you took it to the dealer? If so, how long did it take?

yes took it to dealer. this is the second largest dealer in the USA,
toyota presidents award winner each year since 1993. very big dealer with a ginormous service bay (over 40 bays, all of them with lifts)
    -------------------------------------------------------------

visit 1: tech drove it, confirmed vibrations

dropped driveshaft, said vibrations still occur
    put it back together

got truck back while they consult with Toyota California

visit 2: drove it with the shop foreman, he agreed yup feel the vibe,

and he discussed the TSB and he said he is reluctant to try it, as he has done it in the past and it made the problem worse, and he didn't want to waste my time. I said well since I cranked the u-bolts past spec and the problem went away a tiny bit, and with the new TSB, I am OK to let him have it and give it a shot...he says OK. new TSB it is

they do phase 1 of TSB and then need to order a protractor, but they check the local warehouse and they have all the possible spring packs I might need, so when the protractor arrives i can bring truck in and they can finish the tsb

NOTE: not all dealers will have a protractor on site. they never needed one before the tacoma issue. so you making appointments might need to wait

visit 3: drop off for a day, pick up at 5PM. shop foreman says the tech thinks they reduced the vibrations. We drove it and immediately I know this is 100% fixed and zero vibes.

    ----------------------------------
summary: for those thinking of getting this done

    a) techs might not believe in trying this as the old TSB failed all the time, so if they say they think it may not work, they are not trying to screw you, just letting you know not to be disappointed

    b) tell them specifically you are OK if the TSB doesn't work, but please try the TSB 0008-14 anyway...tech must drive and confirm vibes but of course Toyota Corp pays for all this so they do not blow off TSB work, they love it. they are only being honest when they say 'it may not work'

    c) standard set of toyota tools does not include a protractor, so you might need to wait if you are the first TSB 0008-14 customer

    d) might need to wait for the correct spring packs, but they should be in all warehouses already as they are a standard toyota part...it's just your truck was not built correctly if you have the vibe

    e) if you have anything other than the 15-25mph vibe I cannot guess or recommend this will fix that. I had the 15-25 vibe and it is now GONE!
