Stuff and things that make it better.
Hey I was wondering if I could ask all you guys a favor.

Could you keep a lookout for an old Miller Spoolmatic 1 (4pin), I got a bunch of aluminum I want to try my hand at it. I've been watching ebay for one that isn't being listed as solid gold without any luck.

    Thanks guys.

Why? Overpriced. Got a lot of friends that use smaller engine driven machines daily. Have heard lots of bad on those if you plan on running it all day. Get a Lincoln GXT or if you're set on Miller, get a trailblazer. Damn good machine

Personally, I wasn't fond of the kohler engine. My friends that ran them were constantly having to increase amperage throughout the day. If they only ran it a couple hours, and let it cool for a couple hours, then they were fine. But these these guys run their machines damn near all day due to being in tough to get to welds

The Lincoln GXT, Lincoln 225, miller bobcat 225 and 250 all have the 23hp kohler

My Lincoln 250 get was a lot cheaper than the miller equivalent. And millers didn't have a remote pin connector for a foot pedal. I wanted TIG capabilities with a foot pedal

Thanks, I definitely used all of yours for inspiration LOL. I like the sleeker wings on all 3 of those and the 2 faces on the front that Demello and Pelfrey use.

Thanks, I would not do it again with a cutoff, but it was a good learning experience.
