Nice. I dipped my grille emblem and plan to do that lower piece as well. The random grey finish looks silly.

Now did you remove the emblem or just paint the whole grey grill and emblem. If just emblem what's an easy way to remove

Don't paint the grille. Emblem pops out from the inside easily. I'll snap an upclose in a sec.

Sorry, I have the facelift. Grille is coated in Adams In & Out if it looks a bit glossy.

Had to drop off my tailgate today. Pretty much the only time I've ever had somebody who backed into / hit / door dinged a vehicle of mine take responsibility and did the right thing.

The same shit everyone else has.

Thats how it is with my MK2 as well. Its kinda sad to think I have probably the same amount tied up in a 2o year old Volkswagen and all that anybody see is its lowered with after market wheels.

On another note, its refreshing to see other people with these trucks that share the same point of view as me.

I dipped mines. Instead of leaving it on the bumper, I took the insert off because in the future I'm planning on getting a new insert (due to damage). When I get my new piece in, I'm planning on dipping it again. Gotta love the black look rather than the gray. Here's a pic:
