swimming portion is in the academy.

if your not running now and plan on scoring in the top percentile, get to it!

17 second 75 yd pursuit, two minutes for 47+ push-ups, 49 sit-ups, and then 11 and a half minute 1.5 mile run.. in the august heat and humidity

it was so hot in the gym, guys were passing out during the push-ups and sit-ups portion. now go run a mile and a half.

I took the test for Barnegat last summer.. its not about whether or not you can do each exercise its more about doing them in rapid succession with no breaks in between. We literally had to sprint from one exercise station to the next. You just get sooooo gassed. Never been so tired in my life.

They took 2 out of about 600 applicants... im not sure if vet status has any effect on age

You ever get your ears checked?

It made my truck quieter but not that quiet. The glass till lets a ton of noise in.

I'm impressed so far. Even just shutting the doors I get a smile because they sound substantial now and not like the cheap ass thin metal they are.

Some of the best money I spent on my turd.

    Wait....

So we have a female member named bonesmuggler who is smuggling bones?

Who's GF is this? Only in classy NJ.... :)

Also I guess the ban on n00bs posting in the NJ thread is over.

same age limit. I asked a Sergeant if they had veterans preference which they don't. He said they do value the discipline and work ethic of people with military experience though.

    What haven’t I changed?
Well, I also installed a bunch of mass-loaded vinyl in addition to the deadener and foam. My stereo is also usually turned up, which combined with my older age means maybe I should get my ears checked. :D
