How much did you cover? Just the doors and sides, or did you do the ceiling/floor as well?

    So far just the doors.

The floor and rear of the cab are next. You get 20 sheets and I only used 2-1/2 per side so far.

Supposidley I will not have enough for the roof and thats fine by me. I do not want to mess with the headliner anyway.

The headliner is a PITA to get out. If you are ever gonna do it, do it when you've got the cab apart because all that shit has to come out to get the headliner down. At least that's how it is in a 1st gen, I imagine it's probably the same in most vehicles though.

That's what I meant, if you have any inkling to do the roof now's the time while everything else is ripped out. Probably not worth it though, the roof probably has the least amount of sound coming through it. How water resistant is the soundproofing?

    100%
it's butyl - I used to use it as a sealer.

The foam on the other hand I'm not so sure of. Seems to be like rubber and has a plastic backing that looks to be waterproof.

Yeah, the headliner is a BIG PITA even when everything is out of the cab. I couldn't figure out how to get it to fit through my door openings without creasing it so when I did my install so I just worked on one half of the roof at a time.
