I call BS theres no way you have that kind of time on your hands even if youre not banging anyone. and second you need to just rip and tear it's a bed held down with nuts and bolts not a rocket engine anything you run into you can solve quickly when you see it i have faith in you even if you do run a little slower than the rest of us

You'll have to pull the wiring from the rear lights off the bed. And pull the tail lights to undo them. Also undo the fuel filler neck shroud.

Comes right off after that. 4 people can manage it with ease

Also tony got hit by a deer..not a rock.

And half cage is still a waste of time. Just do a full one

And im gonna have to agree and disagree with you at the same time on the cage issue. Im not sure but i think im the only one in this thread that ever had a full cage.

You just havent seen the shenaigans that go on in my shop while we are working on a truck. Also i feel it's best for him to learn how to do things in real life rather than get his hand held.

This will be another time crunch project, in somone else's shop and need to work around when he works too. The last thing I want to do is waste time fiddling with trying to get a bed off and over looking something small under there.

Hopefully his forklift works, we will be using a forklift to take the bed off lol

We basically had 2 trucks in the shop on Sunday. haha Rocky's and mine.

Just remove your tail lights and whatever you have to do to the gas cap and just make sure all the wires are disconnected from the bed. Undo the 6 bolts lift the bed a few inches and make sure nothing else is coming with the bed.

 

Im glad we got all that done though so i can get on to taking care of my shit.

 

That will never happen. You will be prepping until the day you leave. like always though if you need a hand just call.

 

you should just bring it back down here to pull your bed. then i can drink beer while you fuck around with the easiest body part to remove. then after and hour or so i will help. besides the plasma does have good tips now. better get a start cartridge though. we will have it off in a jiffy.

 

and by that he means i found all my logging chains and im bringing the backhoe back up to the house..

 

What do we need a backhoe for? It's a 4cyl. We just unbolt it let the wind blow it off right? haha
