heh, I made a bunch of furniture for my house using HF saws. Can't beat a 12" compound mitre saw for 100 bucks!

 

I'd be curious to see this furniture you put together with such fine tools. Anyway, like anything else, it's less about whether I can make do with cheaper garbage and more about enjoying having a nice table saw with actual usable table space and a good fence to make doing it more fun.

Also, go figure on this: The only actual contractor's saw sold by harbor freight is $800, which is way more than I paid for my used Delta.

But yeah, for a miter saw or a drill press, particularly if I don't care about precision, I can live with a HF special. I'm trolling craigslist for both of those items right now and considering just picking up the sub-$100 HF models.

 

yeah. I perused CL for like 3 months and finally said screw it. I did have to adjust it a bit out of the box as it wasn't perfectly square but I'm happy with it. It cut everything I needed up to four inches thick and 12 inches wide. And it cut in straight lines and angles when I needed haha.

 

Got a surprise on the way. From me to me! will post pics when it gets here. In he mean time, say hello to our new furry family member!

he is a 1 year old lab mix. we rescued him from Shelby County Humane Society. Very well mannered and is housebroken!

Old bantam trailer FYI for any y'all up north

 

That is funny because he looks JUST LIKE the girl we "adopted" here that was dumped down our county road last week. This is the only picture we have right now. She has the same white spot on her chest, and is either full black lab, or a lab mix. She is taking really well to being housebroken, and sleeps in the bed with me and my chihuahua.

 

he doesn't sleep in the bed with us. Kerri won't allow that. He has a bed that is on my side of the bed and he sleeps in it all night and goes outside to do his business in the morning outside.

Black ARE topper in my area, $400

 

I'm looking for a good topper, just can't understand why the back glass looks curved. In the 3rd picture, he has it sitting on the back glass and it doesn't look like there is anything between it and the gravel. I don't think I want a top that has been treated like that and not think that it might now have some issues.

Toppers aren't dumb. This coming from a guy who had to leave his tonneau cover at my house so you could carry something home.

Congratulations! I got my relentless lights in and mounted them today.!

 

Planning on going to Gulf Shores in Aug for vacation , wondering if anyone would know a fishing charter , we want to go offshore for snapper. Any info would be much appreciated.
