Its not a 30 min install. But were different gens.
Your hood brackets might fit flusher than mine which threw me off.
I'm pretty mechanically inclined but as you can see from a few of my posts above, I asked some questions.

Take your time and do what one of the other posters mentioned.
"Measure once, measure twice.....and measure again"

You can be off a little on the lower mounts, just be sure the uppers are good.

No. Hood fit great. My ball on the upper hood mounts were aimed at the engine. Didn't look right to me so I posted some pics.
Redline assured me they were correct, and they were spot on.

Once again...we are diff gens... they might fit flush on yours.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
I would say it's a 5 if you're mechanically inclined. And I only say that due to drilling into your hood, you want to get it right the first time. I think I spent an hour, only cause I measured, measured, contemplated, measured, measured, contemplated some more, then drilled :D

Glad I saw this! Just did my first oil change (I know I know, I paid for the first five but I want synthetic and don't want anyone touching my truck but me) and being short as I am, popping the hood is an exercise in gymnastics.
